Established in 2018 by Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Noraini Idris, the National STEM Association (NSA) is dedicated to advancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education across Malaysia. As a key driver of national STEM initiatives, NSA works to inspire and empower children and youth to explore STEM fields, with the ultimate goal of increasing enrollment in STEM-related academic streams. Through strategic collaborations with ministries, industry leaders, educational institutions, and international partners, NSA delivers impactful programs, including hands-on learning, digital innovation, and public engagement platforms like the “Borak STEM” podcast. The association actively promotes emerging technologies such as AI, AR/VR, and drone tech, cultivating a future-ready generation. With the motto Ignite, Inspire, Innovate, NSA continues to build a vibrant STEM ecosystem that nurtures talent, fosters creativity, and supports Malaysia’s socio-economic development.
